Ok, for the 4 people that are currently visiting my site, you will notice some updates.

• New backend

• and other stuff you don’t care about

As you may or may not know, driving rally cars for most people in the U.S doesn’t pay the bills. My day job is computer dork, and so I get a kick out of this stuff. I’ve been working 60 hours a week trying to save the money for a new little rally project. Obviously the Fiesta Sporting Trophy did not pan out, and as much of a bummer on my life that was I’m not giving up on the sport I love. Rally isn’t really a sport, it’s a part of your life, and I’ve been working hard over the last 8 months or so to save money.

In May of this year two top shelf drivers announced the Max Attack Triple Crown championship. (you may even notice a certain pink Honda Civic on the gallery page). This is the first year for the champ and it has been growing fast. It is my full intention to be able to compete in every event of the MaxAttack + some other North American rallies next year, perhaps even one this year, but we will see.

MaxAttack is the new hotness for a number of reasons, but #1 in most people’s eyes is their is actually a prize purse… holy crap, yes. You can actually WIN up to 2 grand per event. Now, 2k will probably just barely cover most of your rally expenses for a smaller event so nobody is going to get rich. But it does allow the possibility of sustainability. I mean you could rally in the MaxAttack champ, and still buy beers at night because most of your costs were covered, absolutely amazing…. and way ahead of anything else in the U.S. I am really pumped about it.
